Three little precious people will adorn these little crayola aprons! Thanks, friend, for this order. I hope the little ones love them!

Let’s celebrate!

Monogrammed Onesies…

A simple but perfect gift! Isn’t the onesie the perfect baby loungewear?

Crate Covers…

Getting organized! Check out the before and after photos of the little craft/sewing/office in our home! These craft covers are easy to make, thought I’d prefer not to make twelve again soon! I think these would be a great send-off gift for high school grads, care package holder for college students, baby shower gifts (filled with diapers!), or small toy box for a child. It would be super cute to add a monogram, as well! Depending on the fabric selected, the crate covers can be used for most any home, room, or purpose.

Child’s Toolbelt/Crayon Roll …

Pictured above is an alternative option to the child’s craft apron. The crayon roll is small and practical, fitting into the backpack, purse, church bag, etc. If you have a little man in your home, perhaps you’d like to have this crayon roll double as a tool belt! Above is shown with pockets for 12 crayons but it can be made to hold as many crayons as one wishes!

Child’s Apron (Boys)…

Aprons for boys, too? Sure! Little boys grow up to become famous artists (Michelangelo, Andy Warhol, El Greco - one of my faves, etc.) & famous chefs (some who have their own shows on t.v.!) This is the first little man apron I’ve created, and I’d love to make more. If you prefer something “like and apron” - try the Child’s Toolbelt/Crayon Roll. See next post.

Monogramming…

“I am a sewing machine!” That’s what I said when I got my Janome 350. Adding a monogram to almost any item - homemade, store-bought towels, aprons, onesies, etc. creates such a personal touch! If you’ve been pregnant, you may agree that the idea of Baby is surreal for the first few months, so creating this Matthies onesie helped me physically visualize our baby! (I’m a visual learner!)

Child's Aprons (Girls)...

Aprons, aprons, aprons! Craft aprons with crayon pocketsAprons with big pockets (for cooking or crafts!)Or a more dainty style apron (pleated or gathered) with crayon pockets. These are great gifts for birthday, holidays, or special occasions such as gifts for flower girls. I like to pair an apron with a themed gift such as an oversized coloring book with the crayon apron or a kid’s cook book or utensils for cooking! (Books, books, books can you tell that I’m a teacher?) My friend said, “She (daughter) loves it and wears it every day!” (Crayons not included.)

Bags/Toy Bags...

Bags for any occasion! These toy bags were designed with a special toy in mind (and two special twins in mind!). The front pocket displays the child’s first initial and is a holder for the toy instructions. A ribbon runs through the top of each bag and secures the sack so that items remain inside! (...I designed these because I felt bad giving my friend’s children more “tiny toy pieces” for their birthday that falls right after Christmas. I’m sure they already received so many items!) The bags are a nice way to organize the toys, double for gift-wrapping, and can be used for really - anything! I hope that after the toy gets old (uncool!) the bags will have some other use.

Baby Toys...

I love this new creation! Small, soft, and makes a crinkly sound when Baby plays. Perfect to fit in the purse, throw in the diaper bag, throw in your church bag, etc. I love to use a variety of fabrics and ribbons can be monogrammed, themed for your school of choice (WHOOP! or for my friends at UTor for my husband’s alma mater Southwest Texas State.)

Bibs and Burp Rags ...

Usually reversible, I prefer to use a cotton print on one side and terry cloth (towel) on the reverse. I also sometimes select a heavier fabric for the print (light canvas) or a soft flannel for both front and back. Per the preference of my experienced-mommy friends and family, snaps secure the bibs (often a few, to grow with the baby) as opposed to ribbons or Velcro, but all can be done. Some monogrammed bibs are not reversible. These items are truly baby-used and mommy-approved!
