Baby "No Name"

Baby Matthies is waiting for his name, as are his new bib and burp rags! Maybe that's why he hasn't decided to come early! (...I'm not sure why these photos load side-ways... perhaps some kind person can help me correct this?)

Bows, Bows, Bows…

I’ve attempted to make little hair bows, and it’s pretty fun! …Baby M won’t be wearing these, of course, but plenty of his little girlfriends sport these. We’ll add them to the “madebytracymatthies” items for sale – headbands and special requests, too!

Little Boy Smocked Outfits

These little outfits were smocked by my talented mom! She has made many for little girls, but I think Baby M is the first little boy. The suits were purchased online – already gathered for smocking – but all of the handwork is mom's alone. …not for sale. I told her to sell her work, but she said she just makes it for the special little people in her life!

Grown Up Apron!

...for my good friend Jessica who just graduated from culinary school. I'm so proud of her!

The image below is the vintage apron that I designed Jessie's apron after. This was one of my grandmother's aprons. One day I'll have to post all of the vintage aprons that I'd like to remake!

What shall we name this baby?

One of my best friends told me to monogram all of Baby Matthies’ potential names to help us decide! I imagine that this burp rag will go with us into labor – because he won’t decide on his name until we see him! ….only one more month until we all meet - face to face!
